Andrew Smith

Bio

Andrew Smith is a Dallas-based runner, father of four, and sales professional turned fractional CFO consultant. A Baylor University graduate and Lafayette, Louisiana native, Andrew came to running later in life — signing up for his first half marathon on three days' notice in 2022. In just three years, he went from a 4:03 marathon debut to a 2:53:52 finish at the 2026 Houston Marathon, earning a qualifier for the 2027 Boston Marathon. Along the way he ran the New York City Marathon as a charity runner for Hope Story, a nonprofit supporting families with Down Syndrome diagnoses. Andrew trains in the Dallas area and is a member of the DFW running community.
