Paul Box

Bio

Paul Box started his serious running journey at age 30, signing up for his first marathon on Thanksgiving Day and going on to run a 3:29 debut. What began as a quest to beat his cousin's time has evolved into an extraordinary running career that spans from Boston Marathon qualifier to two-time World Marathon Challenge finisher (7 marathons, 7 continents, 7 days). A passionate advocate for "running as adventure," Paul has found his niche in ultrarunning and FKTs (Fastest Known Times), tackling challenges like running from the Caribbean to the Pacific in Panama and organizing the annual Waxahatchee 50-miler for 500 participants. As a board member of the Dallas White Rock Marathon, he's working to elevate the race by bringing in elite competition, including approximately 150 NAIA Championship athletes and rekindling the partnership with Sendai, Japan. Paul is a 12-time consecutive Boston Marathon finisher who believes running is about finding your adventure—whether that's one mile through your neighborhood or seven marathons across seven continents.
